Archaeological  ruins  local testifies the people of those places end from the prehistory; the Roman they will call " Aryl " the already flourishing commercial and handicraft center.  In the Middle Ages Peschiera step from the Scaligeri to the Gonzaga, in order to pass from last under the standards of S. Under the Austrian dominion Peschiera constituted, together to Verona, Legnago and Mantova one of the pillars of famous " Quadrilateral " the called defensive order.
